Cookie policy
Last updated:
We keep cookies to the absolute minimum. We use one strictly necessary cookie, and no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Template notice: this document is a professional template provided for convenience and must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before it is relied upon.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work and to remember information such as whether you are signed in.
2. The cookie we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Keeps you securely signed in to the founder, investor or admin portal. Set only when you sign in, and cleared when you sign out. | Strictly necessary, first-party, HTTP-only, secure | Up to 7 days |
3. Why we don't ask for consent
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, such as staying signed in, do not require consent. Because this is the only cookie we use, we do not display a cookie banner.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the __session cookie you will still be able to browse the public website, but you will not be able to sign in to the portals.
5. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them. For more about how we handle personal data, see our privacy policy or contact hello@sheba.ventures.
